CapMan Growth Equity III Invests in Tana Oy
08 April 2024Finland: Circular materials processing equipment specialist Tana Oy has received an initial investment from the CapMan Growth Equity III fund. Other participating investors include Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company. The new funding is intended to fuel Tana Oy's further expansion. The company said that the Kangas family remain its primary owners.
Tana Oy expects to record €65m in turnover in the 2024 financial year (1 April 2023 – 31 March 2024). It maintained over 20% year-on-year growth in turnover over multiple previous years.
Vecoplan opens Ferrara service and sales office
21 December 2022Italy: Vecoplan has announced the inauguration of its new Ferraro service and sales office in Emilia-Romagna. The supplier says that the facility has sufficient space for it to work on entire machines. In the future, it will also offer welding services for special components, including rotors.
Vecoplan's services head Jochen Pfeil said “The new warehouse will enable us to increase the availability of our machines and plants."
Tana celebrates 50th anniversary
30 March 2021Finland: Tana has celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1971. It marked the occasion by setting an ambitious growth target of Euro100m within the next ten years from Euro40.0m in 2020. It said that the ‘open-minded and innovative’ tradition which it has maintained over the past 50 years will continue in future. Tana is a producer of waste shredders.
Deuna receives state-of-the-art SRF production facility
22 August 2019Germany: Dyckerhoff has installed a solid recovered fuel processer at Germany’s largest capacity cement plant in Deuna, Thuringia. Lindner has stated that it installed the production line, consisting of four Lindner shredders and developed by B+T Group, during the overhaul phase without disruption to Deuna’s 2.4Mt/yr capacity output. B+T will provide a constant supply of mostly pre-sorted non-recyclable post-consumer packaging and rubber and textile waste. This will feed Deuna’s rotary kilns with sustainably-sourced fuel at a rate of 720t/day.
